1. Go for a Hike or Scenic Drive

Visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is fun with a group, but going by yourself can be an incredible experience too! You can take your time and explore all that this amazing park has to offer. From waterfalls and scenic overlooks to unique geological features and historic buildings, you can find it all on the hiking trails here. If you don’t feel like hiking there are hundreds of miles of scenic roads you can auto tour. There are also numerous pullouts along the roads where visitors frequently stop to get pictures and take in the views.

2. Hang Out at The Island

You’ll blend right into the crowd as you sit in one of the many rocking chairs surrounding the Show Fountains. You can relax and enjoy some people watching and see the water dancing to all the hit music every half hour. There are also a ton of places to window shop and eat at this attraction. You can even stop by the arcade and let your inner kid run wild as you play all the games you want!

3. Stop by the Titanic Museum

Museums can be a lot of fun to explore by yourself because you can check everything out at your own pace. The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is home to numerous galleries with over 400 personal and private artifacts on display from the famous ship! There are also various interactive exhibits for you to enjoy. When you enter the museum, you’ll receive a boarding pass of an actual passenger or crew member. Toward the end of your visit, you can discover your passenger’s fate in the Memorial Room.

4. Ride a Mountain Coaster
